Privacy Policy — Snowball Fight

This Privacy Policy explains how GL Studio ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you play Snowball Fight (the "Game"), available as a web game and an Android app.

By using the Game, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect the minimum data needed for the Game to work:

• Account information: the username and password you choose when you register. Passwords are handled and stored securely by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see or store your password in plain text.
• Game progress and scores: your unlocked levels, high scores, and total points.
• Online match statistics: your number of online wins and losses.
• Temporary match data: during an online 1‑vs‑1 match, real‑time data (player position, thrown snowballs, health) is exchanged between the two players. This temporary data is deleted when the match ends.
• Technical data: our service provider (Google Firebase) may automatically process standard technical information such as device type and IP address to operate and secure the service.

You may also play as a Guest without creating an account. In Guest mode, your progress and scores are stored only on your own device and are not sent to our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To let you sign in and play across devices.
• To save your progress, scores, and online win/loss record.
• To run online matchmaking and 1‑vs‑1 matches.
• To display leaderboards (your chosen username and scores are visible to other players).
• To protect the Game from abuse and bots (via Google App Check / reCAPTCHA).

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Third‑Party Services

The Game uses Google Firebase to provide its online features:

• Firebase Authentication — account sign‑in and password security.
• Cloud Firestore — storing scores, progress, and stats.
• Firebase Realtime Database — real‑time online matches.
• Firebase App Check / Google reCAPTCHA — protection against bots and abuse.

These services are provided by Google and are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Public Information

Your username and your scores / win‑loss record appear on public leaderboards inside the Game and can be seen by other players. Please do not use a username that reveals personal information.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers. We apply security rules so that only you can modify your own account data, and we use App Check to block unauthorized access. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at glkidchannel@gmail.com. We will delete your data within a reasonable time after your request.

7. Children's Privacy

The Game is suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by law in their country. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will remove it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
